If you have any questions about online classes, or want to know if online classes are right for you, please read our frequently asked questions before proceeding.

If you have any questions about such services as Counseling, Transfer, Veterans' Services or Financial Aid, visit either our Student Services or Financial Aid websites.

Choosing your class(es):

Once you have decided to register for online classes, click on the Class Schedules link above to read the course descriptions and decide which ones you want to take.

Applying & Registering:

After deciding which online classes you want to take, you must register for those classes. If you are a returning student, you can go directly to the registration process. If you have never attended College of the Desert, or have not attended for at least a year, you need to apply for admission to the college before registering.

Accessing your class(es):

When you have completed the registration process, and are ready to access your online classes:

1. Click on the Class Schedule link again.
2. Select from the list the class(es) in which you have enrolled.
3. Click on the Class Password link to request your username and password.
   • These are usually available one week before the semester starts.
4. Click on the Class Website link to access the class.
   • Classes are generally available for access on the first day of the semester.
